Specialist help
We recognise the need to connect communities with specialist help. Community Support Officers will be able to help you find appropriate advisors or suppliers.

Community Action for Energy (CAfE) is a dedicated energy advice service from the Energy Saving Trust for the community sector. It can help you whether you are just beginning your energy project or are already underway.  CAfE offers a variety of free services unearthing funding sources to project planning, energy training, networking and trouble-shooting. We even have an expert panel that can assess your project and advise on how to take it forward.  Membership is free, and by joining you can meet like minded people and can even visit their projects to help with your own.

Online resources
We’ve tried to answer many of the questions that you will have on this website. There is guidance on using the community carbon calculator and resources to help you identify community carbon saving actions.
